SMS Terms & Opt-In

Last updated on October 22, 2026.

Program description

HiveSight runs an opt-in text-messaging program (SMS, iMessage, and WhatsApp) that delivers account-related notifications tied to features the user has configured inside the authenticated HiveSight web application at dashboard.hivesight.so. This page describes the program for the purposes of U.S. carrier A2P 10DLC registration and for the general public.

Who sends messages

Messages are sent from HiveSight (operating entity: Pulsewise Inc., doing business as HiveSight). Message bodies identify the sender as "HiveSight" in the first text we send to a new user and in operational replies thereafter.

How users opt in

Opt-in is an affirmative, in-app action taken by an authenticated HiveSight user. The user must:

  1. Sign in to the HiveSight web app at dashboard.hivesight.so.
  2. Open Settings → Agent → Channels (or go through the Agent setup interview on first use) and choose to add a phone-based channel (SMS, iMessage, or WhatsApp).
  3. Enter the phone number they want HiveSight to reach them at, in E.164 format (e.g. +14155551234).
  4. Read and accept the consent language shown on that screen (reproduced below) before submitting.
  5. Receive a one-time 6-digit verification code at the submitted number and enter it back in the app to prove ownership. For iMessage, Sendblue's inbound- only policy requires the user to text the code to our iMessage number from their iPhone instead; verification completes on inbound receipt.

HiveSight does not send marketing or operational text messages to any phone number that has not completed this verification step. Numbers that fail verification are not stored as reachable.

Consent language displayed at opt-in

The consent copy shown on the channel-add screen before the user submits their number is:

By providing your phone number and submitting this form, you consent to receive text messages from HiveSight related to your account, including meeting briefs, warm-introduction alerts, scheduled check-ins you have opted into, and replies to messages you send us. Message frequency varies — typically 1–10 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Preview of the in-app opt-in screen

The following is a visual representation of the opt-in form that signed-in HiveSight users see in Settings → Agent → Channels before any text message is sent. It is shown here for carrier review; the form is not functional on this page.

Types of messages the user will receive

  • Account notifications & verification codes. The one-time code sent during channel verification, plus any later confirmation of channel changes the user initiates.
  • Meeting briefs. Short pre- and post-meeting summaries for calendar meetings the user has, when the user has opted into briefs.
  • Warm-introduction alerts. Notifications when someone the user has prioritized becomes reachable through a new path in their network.
  • Scheduled check-ins.Reminders and follow-ups the user has explicitly asked HiveSight to send on a schedule (e.g. "Monday 9am ET morning brief").
  • Conversational replies. Direct replies when the user texts HiveSight a question or instruction from their verified number.

HiveSight does not send marketing messages, promotional broadcasts, or messages to phone numbers that did not themselves opt in through the authenticated app. We do not share or sell phone numbers.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with the user's configuration. Typical users receive between 1 and 10 messages per week. Users with highly active meeting schedules who have opted into post-meeting briefs may receive several messages per business day. Users can tune or disable any watcher in Settings → Agent.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on the user's mobile carrier and plan. HiveSight does not charge for text messages themselves.

How to opt out (STOP) and get help (HELP)

Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any HiveSight text message. On receipt, HiveSight sends a single confirmation message and stops sending further messages to that number. Users can resume messaging by replying START (or UNSTOP) or by re-adding the channel from Settings → Agent → Channels. Users can also remove any phone channel from inside the app at any time, which revokes further messaging without needing to text STOP.

Replying HELP (or INFO) returns a short help message pointing the user at our support email and this SMS Terms page. For live support, email justin@hivesight.so.

Carriers and supported countries

Supported in the United States (A2P 10DLC via Twilio for SMS, Sendblue for iMessage, Twilio for WhatsApp). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier charges from your mobile provider may apply.

Phone-number handling and privacy

Verified phone numbers are stored only to deliver the opted-in messages, to match inbound replies back to the user's account, and to honor opt-out requests. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers for messaging purposes with any third party outside of our messaging carriers (acting solely as processors to deliver the user's own messages). See the SMS section of our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling disclosure.

Changes to this program

We may update this SMS Terms page to reflect changes in the program, its message types, or regulatory requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision; material changes are communicated to active opted-in users by in-app notice before taking effect.
